This 1942 photo shows the Westover post exchange (PX) n 1942. This photo was provided by Wanda Daniels, who worked at
the PX in 1942.  The sign above in the foreground reads, "You've got what it takes soldier" "Now take care of what you've got"
HISTORIC DIG - The historic photo above was shot by Tom Nallen's dad of the
groundbreaking ceremony at Westover, taken in 1939. That's Mr. J.G. Roy, then
President of the Chicopee Board of Aldermen.
